UVA

Grown on the eastern slopes of Sri Lanka’s central mountains, the Uva teas have a unique flavour. While commonly used in many different blends, the teas feature different characteristics and can be enjoyed on their own. The best teas are plucked (harvested) at an elevation ranging from 3,500 to 5,500 feet between June and September. The dry winds blowing towards Uva during this period gives the teas a copper-shaded infusion. With a smooth and pronounced taste, the teas feature a wonderful aroma.
