Long leaf, well twisted black tea, sourced from the plantations in the ancient port city of Galle. Apart from the majestic fort built by the Dutch in 1663, Galle is also renowned for its tea in the Middle East, Russia and the USA. The infusion is of a light amber colour and has a distinctive toasty character. It is best enjoyed without milk, but a slice of lemon could be added.
