Gp (gun powder)
The tea is manufactured differently from the way black tea is produced. The harvested tea is roasted in a pan to deactivate the enzymes and then rolled, so as to maintain the greenness in the finished product. The name "gunpowder" is said to have derived from the fact that the tightly-rolled balls of tea resemble pellets of gunpowder. The brew from this tea is pale green and has a slight toasty character.
Tea blend:
Ceylon leaf black tea.
